Instrument Meteorological Conditions
Meteorological conditions expressed in terms
of visibility, distance from clouds, and ceiling less than minima specified
for visual meteorological conditions. These are the conditions specified
for Instrument Flight rules (IFR) -
Conditions for fixed wing aircraft - the minimum cloud ceiling is greater
than 500 feet and less than 1,000 feet and/or visibility is greater than
1 mile and less than 3 miles.
