Strike Probability Forecasts
Strike Probability Forecasts are issued 4 times per day
in the hurricane season. strike probability forecasts are automaticaly
generated if a hurricane warning is issued. The preferred source for these
reports is Navy Fleet Numerical in Monterrey, but they may also be obtained
via message traffic, or from the National Hurricane Center. The report
presents 12 to 36 hr forecasts of 35-50kt winds.
