Acts as Hurricane Duty Officer nights and weekends.

Sends Alerts to Tower

(eg: fuel shutdown) 

Updates hurricane map after NWS tropical weather discussion

Non-severe Weather

Assists FDO in daytime

Serves PNAS, Whiting Field, Meridian, MS, and New Orleans at night

Creates TAFs

Creates 6 hr forecasts 

Presents verbal briefings to pilots
